Students will graduate the academy as young responsible members of society, prepared to effectively contribute to the public safety workforce.
The Public Safety Academy is a 4 year commitment and is designed for students interested in a career in law enforcement, crime scene investigation, firefighting, and/or emergency medical services.
The Public Safety Academy began in 2011 as a non-profit co-ed public high school pathway. Students in 9th-12th grade attend academic and Career Technical Education courses as a grade level team; learning occurs through academics, hands-on training, field trips, competitions, and guest instructors. PSA adheres to the "school within a school” model and is funded through the California Partnership Academies grant and the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V).
We appreciate your time and dedication to our students and program. Thank you.
